Role Overview
- The Business Development Representative (BDR) will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating qualified leads, and converting prospects into long-term clients. The ideal candidate possesses outstanding negotiation skills, a consultative sales approach, and a proven track record in business development.
- This role is fully remote; candidates should have a professional home workspace and reliable internet. Preference is given to candidates fluent in English (C1+) with strong speaking and written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across targeted markets.
- Engage with prospects through calls, emails, and virtual meetings.
- Deliver persuasive presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Work closely with operations to ensure feasibility of client requests, accurate quotations, and service commitments.
- Monitor market trends in international shipping, freight rates, and competitive activity to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline management.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Strong written and verbal English communication (C1+).
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Familiar with CRM software and sales productivity tools.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset.
- Highly motivated, target-oriented, and resilient in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience selling B2B solutions in international markets.
- Familiarity with Ms. Outlook, Excel and basic knowledge of mathematical tools.
- Experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in logistics, shipping, etc.
- Ability to work UK business hours.

- Exceptional Monthly Income Potential: Established, successful performers will target a monthly OTE (On-Target Earnings) of £10,000+
- Annualized OTE: This translates to an annualized OTE of £120,000+
