Senior Accountant Location: Tbilisi Mall, Tbilisi, Georgia

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure the accurate recording of all financial transactions based on primary documentation.
- Calculate monthly and annual taxes, prepare and submit tax declarations through the Revenue Service portal, and ensure compliance with VAT invoicing requirements.
- Coordinate and manage the external audit process.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports to the National Statistics Office.
- Review and authorize bank payment orders prior to final approval.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Oversee account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Supervise payroll accounting in close cooperation with the HR department.
- Ensure full compliance with local tax legislation, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and continuously improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar Senior Accountant role.
- Strong knowledge of Georgian tax legislation and accounting standards.
- Experience working with external auditors and tax authorities.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Experience working with the ORIS accounting system.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
