As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Lawyer to join our team and support the company across a broad range of legal matters related to real estate development, construction, and corporate operations.

What Will You Be Responsible For
As a Senior Lawyer, you will provide legal support across the company’s operations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and protecting Petra Group’s business interests. You will work closely with management and cross-functional teams on contractual, regulatory, corporate, and operational legal matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage various commercial agreements, including construction contracts, service agreements, vendor contracts, partnership agreements, and NDAs.
• Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters related to the company’s operations and development projects.
• Ensure compliance with Georgian legislation and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Support real estate development and construction projects from a legal perspective.
• Identify legal risks and propose practical solutions to mitigate them.
• Assist in dispute resolution processes, claims management, and cooperation with external legal counsel when necessary.
• Participate in negotiations with partners, contractors, clients, and governmental authorities.
• Support corporate governance processes and internal legal documentation.
• Monitor legislative updates and advise management on potential legal implications for the business.
• Contribute to the improvement of internal policies, procedures, and legal processes.

Qualifications & Hard Skills
Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized institution.
• Master’s degree in Law is considered an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of professional legal experience.
• Previous experience in real estate, construction, development, infrastructure, or related industries is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in handling complex negotiations and legal documentation.
• Experience working in an international or fast-growing business environment is a plus.

Language Proficiency

• Fluent Georgian, English, and Russian (both written and spoken) are mandatory.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of Georgian legislation and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent legal drafting and document review skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal documentation tools.
