Our company is seeking experienced professionals to join our team as a Senior Accountant.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recording and controlling accounting operations in accordance with established accounting standards;
- Maintaining tax accounting, preparing tax declarations, and fulfilling tax obligations to the state budget;
- Processing and providing information to auditors, including tax authorities;
- Executing and monitoring bank transfers;
- Monitoring and controlling accounts receivable and payable;
- Recording and controlling inventory and fixed assets;
- Identifying primary accounting documentation and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation;
- Preparing and monitoring statistical reports;
- Ensuring proper archiving of documents;
- Performing other accounting-related duties.
Requirements:
- Higher education in economics (major in accounting or finance);
- At least 4 years of experience working as an Accountant or Senior Accountant;
- Good knowledge of English (knowledge of Russian will be considered an advantage);
- Knowledge of managerial accounting and reporting principles;
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS / IAS) will be considered an advantage.
- Solid understanding of the Georgian Tax Code;
- Excellent command of office software; knowledge of the accounting software Balance will be considered an advantage.
- Analytical thinking and effective time management skills;
- Strong organizational, planning, and monitoring abilities.
