Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound customer calls and make outbound calls to customers who have purchased our hearing aids, across our Amazon storefront and online shop.
- Provide product usage guidance and basic troubleshooting, helping customers get the most out of their devices.
- Make outbound follow-up calls to confirm that customers are satisfied with their product and to support retention.
- Accurately record call notes and handle support tickets correctly and promptly across all channels.
- Collaborate with the wider customer support team and our audiologist team, and escalate recurring or complex issues to the appropriate team.
- Take part in team meetings and training, and remain reachable during your scheduled working hours.
Qualifications
- Professional English communication skills (C1 or above).
- Experience with tools such as Shopify (online shop), Zendesk (customer support platform), Tidio (live chat), and Aircall (phone calls).
- A passion for customer service, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills to manage unexpected situations.
- Strong organizational and execution skills, a proactive work attitude, and the ability to follow instructions and meet customer expectations.
- Detail-oriented, patient, and responsible, with strong teamwork abilities and a willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
- A background in hearing aids or audiology is considered a preferred qualification.
Compensation & Engagement
This is a full-time independent contractor engagement. Compensation is USD 900 per month during a three-month probationary period, increasing to USD 1,100 per month thereafter. As an independent contractor, you are responsible for paying your own taxes — including the 1% tax on your income — and for any registrations required where you live.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, with weekends off. Because we serve customers on U.S. Eastern Time, shifts are set in Tbilisi time and move by one hour when the U.S. changes between daylight and standard time. All times below are Tbilisi time:
2026:
- From 8 March 2026 to 1 November 2026: 17:00 to 02:00
- From 1 November 2026 onward: 18:00 to 03:00
2027:
- Until 14 March 2027: 18:00 to 03:00
- From 14 March 2027 to 7 November 2027: 17:00 to 02:00
- From 7 November 2027 onward: 18:00 to 03:00
