Job Summary
TP Georgia is seeking GL Accountant to join our team in Tbilisi. GL Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining the financial records of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and local tax regulations. This position reports to the accounting manager and works closely with other members of the accounting team.
Responsibilities
- Verify and process supplier invoices
- Calculate and post tax-related transactions in accordance with local regulations
- Perform vendor account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations related to assigned accounts
- Review and approve VAT invoices through the RS.ge portal
- Process and post employee travel expenses
- Process and monitor employee advances
- Track and reconcile business card expenses
- Support internal and external financial audits
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and tax regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field
- Experience in accounting for minimum 2 years
- Knowledge of accounting systems
- Knowledge of MS Excel, other computer programs, at user level
- Knowledge of English Language
- Strong numeric and analytical skills, attention to detail
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- A methodical approach and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
