AZAD TRANSPORT is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Chief Accountant to join our team in Tbilisi, Georgia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounting function, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting the financial management of an international company.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all accounting operations and financial reporting processes.
- Ensure compliance with Georgian tax, accounting, and financial regulations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Supervise accounting staff and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure timely submission of tax declarations and statutory reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chief Accountant.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
- Experience working with international companies will be considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Good command of English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
