Newton Free School is seeking an outstanding Computer Science teacher for the IB Diploma Programme.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science and Programming lessons.
  • Teach Python programming across middle and high school grades.
  • Deliver IB MYP Design and/or DP Computer Science courses.
  • Support students in developing programming projects and coursework.
  • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and department initiatives.

Requirements:
Strong Python programming skills.
  • Good knowledge of Java and/or Python.
  • Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
  • Knowledge of algorithms, computational thinking, and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with databases and SQL.
  • Understanding of computer systems and networks.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Experience teaching Computer Science, Programming, or related subjects.

  • Create a student-centered learning environment that promotes curiosity and critical thinking.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
