Acclaim is looking for a Financial Specialist to support financial and operational processes across multiple jurisdictions.

You'll be working in a multi-jurisdictional environment with fast-moving deadlines. We're transparent: there's a lot of manual work — and we also genuinely welcome people who want to help optimize and automate processes over time. If you enjoy ownership, variety, and building things rather than just maintaining them, this role has real room for that.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role (finance, accounting, audit, or consulting)
• Strong proficiency in Excel (Google Sheets experience is a plus)
• Understanding of basic financial and accounting processes
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and responsibility — especially in document formatting and contract preparation
• Exposure to US, UK, or European financial/payroll processes
• Readiness for hands-on, high-volume manual work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage multiple urgent tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• English proficiency — required (contracts, invoices, and client/vendor communication are primarily in English)

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with banks and payment systems
• Experience in a startup
• Interest in AI tools for workflow optimization and automation
• Responsibilities
• Issuing invoices and acceptance certificates, ensuring document accuracy and proper formatting
• Processing payments, monitoring deadlines and statuses
• Reviewing and preparing contracts (no legal background required, in collaboration with colleagues)
• Manual entry of financial transactions for monthly closing
• Confident use of Excel / Google Sheets (tables, reconciliations, reports)
• Handling minor administrative tasks related to financial operations

Optional:

• Supporting payroll cycles across multiple jurisdictions (US, UK, EMEA)
