HH Recruitment is searching for a candidate for the position of Business Analyst in Tbilisi (Varketili), for an international bank operating in Georgia.

Main Responsibilities:

The IT Business Analyst / System Analyst will act as a bridge between business departments and IT. The main responsibility of this role is to collect, clarify, document, and translate business needs into clear IT requirements, so that internal IT teams and external vendors can implement changes correctly.

• Communicate with business departments to understand their needs, problems, and requested improvements.
• Collect, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical requirements for IT teams and vendors.
• Prepare business requirement documents, functional specifications, process descriptions, and change requests.
• Define acceptance criteria together with business users and QA Tester.
• Support prioritization of requests based on business impact, urgency, risk, and available IT resources.
• Coordinate communication between business units, IT, cybersecurity, application administration, QA, and external vendors.
• Work with AltaSoft and other vendors when business requirements need vendor-side development or configuration.
• Participate in meetings related to application changes, new projects, integrations, reports, and process improvements.
• Support UAT planning and validation with business users.
• Maintain clear documentation of requirements, decisions, approvals, and implementation status.
• Help prevent unclear, incomplete, or conflicting business requests from reaching IT.

Main Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in IT / Computer Sciences)
• 3-5 years of working experience as a Business Analyst (preferably in Financial institutions, banking; Also Insurance, Software Development, Gambling)
• Advanced level of English Language
• Experience with Jira / Confluence / Slack is desirable
