About the Company
A prominent real estate development company in Georgia is looking for an experienced, responsible, and detail-oriented Accountant to join its finance team. The company delivers residential and commercial development projects and is committed to quality, transparency, and sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain full accounting records in accordance with Georgian legislation and IFRS requirements
- Process and systematize primary documentation
- Record and monitor project-based costs for development and construction projects
- Reconcile and record settlements with suppliers, contractors, and service providers
- Record customer settlements, down payments, and installment schedules
- Maintain records of fixed assets, construction in progress, and inventory
- Calculate VAT, profit tax, and other taxes, and submit declarations via the rs.ge system
- Process payroll and account for income tax and pension contributions
- Handle bank operations and perform bank statement reconciliations
- Liaise with auditors and tax authorities
Requirements
- Higher education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience; experience in real estate development, construction, or a related sector is a strong advantage
- Solid knowledge of Georgian tax legislation and accounting standards
- Knowledge of IFRS
- Proficiency in accounting software (1C, Oris, or similar) and MS Excel
- Experience working with the rs.ge system
- Well-organized, responsible, and able to meet deadlines
- Professional certification (SARAS, ACCA, CAP, or similar) is an advantage
