The construction and renovation company "Lamazia Group" announces a vacancy for the position of Construction Cost & Materials Control Specialist / Quantity Surveyor (Remote job).
Working hours - 40 hours per week
Place: Remote

Calculate and record the actual consumption of materials used for renovation and construction works;

The company is seeking a specialist responsible for monitoring and controlling materials used and the volume of work performed during renovation and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Calculate and record the actual consumption of materials used for renovation and construction works;
- Track and record the volume of completed works;
- Compare actual material consumption against budgeted and estimated quantities;
- Prepare relevant forms, reports, statements, and supporting documentation required for material write-offs;
- Monitor the movement and usage of materials by project and type of work;
- Reconcile quantities of materials received, consumed, and remaining in stock;
- Identify material overconsumption, discrepancies, and deviations and report them accordingly;
- When required, verify the quantities and completed works reported by contractors and subcontractors;
- Cooperate with the Accounting Department to ensure accurate documentation and proper recognition of material costs;
- Prepare monthly reports on material consumption and completed works for each project.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the construction and/or renovation industry;
- Good knowledge of construction materials and renovation/construction processes;
- Experience working with cost estimates, BOQs, and related documentation;
- Good command of Microsoft Excel;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately control quantities and supporting documentation;
- High level of responsibility, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- English language - B1-B2
An Advantage Would Be:
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Cost Engineer, or Construction Cost Control Specialist;
- Experience preparing and reviewing completed-work certificates, material consumption reports, and material write-off documentation.
