At present, we are announcing an opening for the position of: Breakfast Demi Chef

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To assist the Chef de Partie / Sous Chef in the preparation and service of breakfast operations, ensuring a consistently high standard of food quality and presentation.
• To prepare and cook breakfast dishes in accordance with established recipes, portion standards, presentation guidelines, and hotel standards.
• To minimize food waste through accurate preparation, portion control, and effective use of ingredients.
• To maintain a thorough knowledge of all products, ingredients, recipes, cooking methods, and breakfast menu items relevant to the section.
• To complete all assigned daily tasks efficiently and within the required timeframes.
• To maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation throughout preparation and service.
• To ensure that all food is prepared, cooked, stored, and served in accordance with HACCP principles and the hotel's food hygiene and safety procedures.
• To report any equipment malfunction, maintenance issues, food safety concerns, or operational problems to the Chef de Partie / Sous Chef / Head Chef immediately.
• To comply with all hotel policies, procedures, standards, and statutory regulations relevant to the position.
• To maintain a professional attitude, appearance, and standard of conduct always.
• To support the kitchen team in maintaining efficient breakfast service and achieving high levels of guest satisfaction.

To undertake any other reasonable duties and responsibilities assigned by the Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Chef de Partie.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2-3 years of proven experience in a relevant role
• Understands that the property's main objective is that the respective guest is always satisfied with the hotel services; the hotel and its employees' main goal is to achieve and exceed guest expectations
• Comply with all company policies
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
• The company reserves the right to add and amend any duties or responsibilities as retained need it by the company at its discretion
• Maintain and promote good working relations with colleagues within and of other departments within the company
