Olympiad Questions, Data & AI - Full time, flexible hours

If you love math, love the English language, and get a quiet thrill from figuring out why something works this might be the role you didn't know you were looking for. Behind every Olympiad is a season's worth of questions that have to be interesting, fair, correctly calibrated in difficulty, translated into many languages, aligned to local curricula, and loaded flawlessly into our platform. That whole engine is what this role owns. We're not looking for a finished expert, we're looking for someone sharp, curious, and hungry to grow real ownership of something important, with us, from an early stage. The Role

What you'll actually do

  • Create the questions
Design original math and English Olympiad questions and tasks in English using AI as your co-writer and our historical results data as your guide. A big part of the craft here is calibration: reading how hard past questions were for students in a given region, and building new ones that will land at the difficulty we intend. Easy, medium, hard on purpose, not by accident.

  • Coordinate the verification
You won't be the final sign-off on every answer, and you don't need to be. You'll run the checking process working with our expert reviewers (and bringing in outside experts when needed) to make sure everything is correct and clean before it moves forward.

  • Own the localization
Coordinate translation of questions into the languages we operate in, and make sure they're aligned to each country's curriculum working with local reviewers so nothing gets lost in translation, literally.

  • Load everything into the platform
Make sure every question, answer, and asset goes live on our system correctly, on time, and without errors.

  • Use data to get sharper every season
Study how students actually performed, and use that to calibrate the next round of questions more precisely.

  • Be a real teammate
We're still a startup, still shaping where things go. You'll be in the brainstorms, the "what if we tried…" conversations contributing beyond your own lane.

The Fit

What we're looking for

  • Strong in math, strong in English
You genuinely enjoy both, and you can write clear, correct, well-structured questions in English.

  • Real skill with AI prompting
You use AI as a genuine co-writer and research tool, not a crutch and you enjoy getting better at it.

  • Comfortable with data
You can read results data and translate it into calibration decisions.

  • Organised and detail-obsessed
You can coordinate reviewers, translators, and platform uploads without anything slipping through the cracks.

  • Comfortable with technology and systems
You pick up new tools quickly and aren't intimidated by them.

Nice to Have

Bonus points

  • Experience with Olympiads, competitive math, or teaching.

  • A second (or third) language, especially one we operate in.

  • Any experience working with translators or reviewers on a project.

The Offer

This might be you if… You're a strong 3rd- or 4th-year student (or a recent graduate) who isn't tied down right now and wants to pour your energy into something that matters. You're sharp, curious, and you'd rather own something real than fill a small role.

The details

Around 40 hours a week, with flexible scheduling that can work around university commitments. You'll be part of a close, energetic team that supports you, challenges you, and celebrates the wins together. Come as you are enthusiastic, dependable, and ready to grow with us.
