City Systems is announcing vacancy for the position of HVAC Engineer
Reports To: Project Manager
An HVAC Field Engineer is a professional who specializes in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, typically in commercial, industrial, or large residential settings. The role is a blend of engineering knowledge and hands-on technical work, performed primarily on-site (in the "field").

Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Commissioning: Oversee or assist with the installation of HVAC systems; ensure systems meet specifications and function correctly.
- System Testing & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve system issues; use diagnostic tools and interpret results.
- Project Coordination: Work with contractors, clients, and other engineers to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare reports on system performance, service logs, and technical documentation.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure systems comply with building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
- Client Interaction: Provide technical support and educate clients on system operation and maintenance.
Skills Required
- Technical Expertise: Understanding of HVAC principles, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and control systems.
- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical, electrical, and digital components.
- Communication: Ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients, technicians, and contractors.
- CAD/Blueprint Reading: Ability to read mechanical drawings and use design tools like AutoCAD or Revit.
- Field Experience: Comfort working in variable environments and handling physical tasks.
Education & Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma: Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications: It is strongly desirable to have Official Certification of servicing refrigerant-operated equipment (successful candidate will be given 1 month period to pass corresponding exams and obtain such a certificate) ---
- Experience: Hands-on experience in HVAC service or design is highly valued.
