Workpoint, the Georgian representative office of an international recruitment company with extensive experience in international recruitment across various industries, is pleased to announce an opening for the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO).
The recruitment is being conducted on behalf of the local representative office of an international distribution company operating in both the B2B and B2C healthcare sectors.

Position Overview
The mission of the Chief Operating Officer (COO) is to develop and strengthen the company's operating model, optimize business processes, build a high-performing leadership team, and implement scalable management systems that will support the company's sustainable growth and long-term development.
The COO will work directly with the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), actively participate in strategic decision-making, and play a key role in shaping the company's next stage of growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's operational strategy in close collaboration with the CEO.
• Analyze, standardize, and continuously improve business processes across the organization.
• Drive operational excellence by implementing and managing key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Coordinate department heads and foster a high-performance, results-oriented leadership team.
• Lead operational budgeting, optimize resource allocation, and ensure cost efficiency.
• Oversee logistics, warehousing, procurement, distribution, and other operational functions.
• Lead ERP implementation and drive business process automation initiatives.
• Develop effective reporting and accountability systems to support data-driven decision-making.
• Lead organizational change initiatives and successfully implement new operational processes and standards.
• Manage operational risks and ensure business continuity during the company's growth and expansion.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of management experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a COO, Operations Director, or equivalent senior leadership role.
• Proven experience managing operations within a medium-sized or large organization.
• Strong expertise in business process optimization, KPI development, and modern operational management methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Excellent leadership, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated experience in organizational transformation and team development.
• Fluency in Georgian is required. Proficiency in Russian and/or English will be considered a significant advantage.
