The Casino Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to casino patrons in the dining and beverage areas. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome casino patrons in a friendly and professional manner;
- Assist guests with menu selections, answer questions, and provide recommendations as needed;
- Anticipate and fulfill guest needs to ensure an exceptional dining experience;
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring order accuracy and completeness;
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, following established service standards;
- Monitor guest tables to ensure that glasses are refilled, tables are cleared, and guests have everything they need;
- Have a thorough understanding of the menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and special dietary considerations;
- Accurately register all checks in POS;
- Ensure that dining tables and surrounding areas are clean and properly set up for service;
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate food and beverage service efficiently;
- Comply with responsible alcohol service regulations and policies;
- Report any customer concerns or incidents to the appropriate supervisor;
- Collaborate with kitchen, bar, and other restaurant staff to ensure smooth and efficient service;
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant, preferably within a casino or hospitality setting;
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment;
- Knowledge of menu items;
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities;
- Flexibility in work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays;
