GS Brokers, a WTW Correspondent in Georgia is announcing vacancy for the position of Medical Director.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Medical Director who will be offering brokerage service and in-depth consultation to the clients as well as negotiate terms with insurance companies.

Job Description

The Medical Insurance Director is responsible for managing the medical insurance portfolio, maintaining relationships with insurance companies, developing medical insurance programs for corporate clients, leading the team, and driving business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic and operational management of the Medical Insurance portfolio
• Develop and enhance medical insurance products and programs
• Lead, develop, and evaluate the performance of 3 employees in Health Insurance department
• Represent the company at senior-level meetings and industry events
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with partners and stakeholders
• Conduct negotiations with insurance companies and agree on contract terms and conditions
• Prepare and deliver proposals and presentations for corporate clients
• Coordinate participation in tenders and procurement processes
• Provide clients with detailed explanations of policy terms, exclusions, and coverage
• Manage claims and complex insurance cases
• Ensure client satisfaction and monitor service quality throughout the policy period
• Monitor market trends, new products, and regulatory developments

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher, preference will be given to candidates with qualifications in Business Administration, Economics, Healthcare Management, or a Medical-related field
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the insurance industry
• Fluent English language skills (mandatory requirement)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office software applications
• Experience working with corporate medical insurance programs
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills
• Ability to make prompt decisions and effectively solve problems
