Georgian Water and Power Ltd, a leading company in the water supply market of Georgia, providing high quality safe and reliable service to the population of Tbilisi and its environs, is pleased to announce an opening for the position of Business Process Analyst

 

Who are they - Business Process Analysts have knowledge of process mapping and business process reengineering. They analyze business processes and workflows with the objective of finding out how they can be improved or automated. They facilitate process workshops, after which they document any information elicited using process maps and business requirements documents. They may also be involved in documenting procedures and presenting new process designs to stakeholders for discussion.

Business Process Analysts must be able to see the big picture, understand project objectives and be able to apply their understanding of how processes should work to operational improvement initiatives. 

 

Business process analyst will:

  • Analyze and optimize Business Processes   
  • Study, analyze and describe business processes
  • Create process maps /flow charts
  • Analyze, improve, streamline and redesign processes
  • Develop procedure manuals
  • Plan, implement and streamline, new or redesigned processes
  • Study and analyze people’s roles in the business processes 
  • Perform Job Analysis and develop Job Descriptions
  • Develop strategies, plan and implement change in jobs and work activities

 

Other activities Business Process Analysts get involved in include:

  • Managing process change
  • Leading process redesign workshops
  • Educating business users responsible for managing and operating business processes
  • Monitoring, measuring and providing feedback on process performance
  • Facilitating process workshops that involve eliciting process requirements and liaising with users
  • Applying their knowledge of business process modelling notations (BPMN, EPC, BPEL) to documenting processes.

 

Qualifications and skills:

  • Academic degree preferably in business administration;
  • Minimum 3 years working experience at the relevant position;
  • Strong verbal and writing communication skills;
  • Fluency in English and Russian languages;
  • Strong computer (MS office) skills;
  • Basic knowledge of principles of Management and Finances;
  • Highly motivated, self-organized, proactive and result driven;
  • Planning, coordination and prioritization skills;
  • Ability to adapt with changing environment; ability to work under pressure;
  • Sound interpersonal skills.
