Far Out Solutions (www.faroutsolutions.com) is seeking an experienced, full-time (40 hours/week), Virtual Sales Appointment Setter within the Information Technology (IT) Industry preferably for a US based company. Contacts/prospects will be provided by Far Out Solutions. Contact will be made through the execution of a well developed plan of scripted sales calls and/or email campaigns. The position is intended to be permanent upon successful completion of a trial performance period in support of our growing company. The expected tasks will include the following:

  • Direct outbound contacts with prospective, executive level clients via phone and/or email utilizing well developed, industry based scripts, tailored to our portfolio of services and the prospect’s identified needs.
  • Introduce Far Out Solutions and our compelling value proposition
  • Identify interest, existing needs/challenges, opportunity scope & timing
  • Create a prospect record in our CRM & document  conversation highlights, next steps, etc.
  • Confirm introductory phone appointments for the sales team via shared calendar access and the CRM
  • Provide additional support to the sales department as needed
  • Available to work from 9:00AM - 5:00PM EST, M-F
  • Achieve or exceed weekly activity metrics
  • Participate in weekly business review calls with the Director of Sales
  • Provide/complete weekly activity reports

 

The following requirements are a must:

  • 2-5 years of proven, successful outbound telemarketing/appointment setting experience within the IT industry
  • Excellent verbal and written English language skills
  • Reliable high speed internet (voice & data) connection
  • Reliable desktop/laptop that has the latest OS (Windows or MAC/IOS)
  • At least 3 previous/current employer and/or client professional/character references
  • Advanced experience with the following software:
  • MS Office
  • CRM Software (Autotask, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Screen Share/Video Conferencing Software (Teamviewer, Zoom, Go To Meeting, Hangouts, etc.)
  • Email campaigns (i.e. mailchimp)
