About the role…
Georgia Capital is looking for a professional with experience in corporate banking to join its investment team in a senior role. Direct reporting line is to the Experienced Professional in a Senior Role
The activities of Georgia Capital, hence of the role as well, include the elements of private equity fund. The role will imply networking and relationship building with the Georgian corporates, evaluating the investment opportunities (greenfield and acquisitions, as well as existing portfolio companies) to assess whether investee will meet Georgia Capital’ expectations in terms of growth, operations and ultimately, equity returns. Preparing investment cases, which includes analysis of the market, track record and outlook of the sector, competitive dynamics, business models and strategy, regulatory framework, financial modelling, managing preliminary as well as thorough due diligences, negotiating with the potential investment targets, as well as working on greenfield business development projects and exit strategies (strategic sale and IPO), project management, raising debt and equity financing for the Group through private placements and capital market transactions – both debt and equity, working with lenders and communication with the investors, oversight of portfolio companies and working with portfolio companies to drive value creation.
