Key Responsibilities:

• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
• Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
• Budget Oversight: Assist in monitoring budgets and forecasting financial performance.
• Compliance: Ensure all financial practices comply with local laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Tax Preparation: Collaborate with external accountants for tax filings and audits.
• Expense Management: Track and categorize business expenses, ensuring they align with budgets and company policies.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement systems and processes to improve financial efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in a medium-sized business environment.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and best practices.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Experience managing payroll and employee benefits is a plus.
• Familiarity with financial reporting for companies with six-figure monthly revenue is advantageous.
