BRAND MANAGER ASSISTANT JOB PURPOSE:
Under the supervision of the Senior Brand Manager, the Brand Manager Assistant will help manage GWS's marketing activities, including communication, promotions, and innovation for our brands. You will assist the Senior Brand Manager in executing marketing strategies and ensuring smooth day-to-day brand operations.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
All duties will be executed under the supervision of the Senior Brand Manager, including:
- Assisting in defining the brand's role and goals for local and global growth.
- Supporting the development and execution of brand positioning and long-term strategies.
- Assisting in creating a winning long-term Brand Strategy to achieve Brand Ambition.
- Supporting brand positioning efforts and identifying key tasks to influence consumer behavior over the next three years.
- Helping develop and execute the three-year marketing plan to meet brand objectives and annual brand plans.
- Assisting in the development of brand innovations and renovations, turning consumer insights into new products.
- Supporting the management of budgets for projects in collaboration with Finance.
- Assisting in the development of the brand’s visual identity, packaging, and other creative solutions.
- Supporting the planning and execution of product launches, setting goals, and ensuring the team stays on track.
COMMUNICATION & ACTIVATION:
- Assisting in creating clear and engaging briefs for brand communication under the Senior Brand Manager’s guidance.
- Helping develop and execute communication campaigns across multiple consumer-relevant touchpoints.
- Supporting the yearly activation calendar (events, sponsorships) in line with brand goals, and assisting in managing sponsorships and trade show participation.
CONSUMER & MARKET INSIGHT:
- Assisting in analyzing market and brand data to meet goals and providing insights into consumer behavior.
- Supporting market research efforts and understanding the brand’s distribution path.
AGENCY AND BUDGET MANAGEMENT:
- Assisting in working with purchasing, finance, and agencies to manage projects efficiently.
- Helping manage marketing budgets to maximize return on investment (ROI).
- Supporting the review process of marketing activation efforts, collaborating with sales, purchasing, and finance teams.
MAIN CONTACTS:
- Internal: All departments within the organization.
- External: Customers (local and export distributors), advertising agencies, media, event planning agencies, PR agencies, suppliers, market research agencies, and packaging/advertising material suppliers.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualifications:
- University degree in marketing or a related field.
Experience:
- 1-2 years of brand marketing management experience.
- Experience in Brand Management within the FMCG industry is preferred.
- Experience with alcoholic brands or advertising agencies is a plus.
Knowledge:
- Familiarity with brand development tools and marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of ATL, BTL, and TTL marketing techniques.
- Proficiency in key IT tools.
- Experience in the alcoholic beverage industry is an advantage.
- Familiarity with graphic design programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and CorelDraw is a plus.
Languages:
- Fluency in spoken and written Georgian.
- Strong proficiency in spoken and written English and Russian.

- Creative thinking and strong interpersonal skills.
- Self-discipline, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.

- Ability to build strategic, multilevel, and teamwork relationships.
