With the continuous growth of the company, Flat Rock Technology is seeking to hire a PHP Web Developer to join our team.

 

Main responsibilities:

• Gather documentation from internal and external 3rd parties
• Document integration design and implementation details
• Develop integration code that connects to 3rd parties
• Develop integration code that enables clients to import and export data in
• various formats according to documented schemas
• Test integrations both internally and with 3rd parties and ensure they work as designed
• Ensure quality assurance by establishing processes that support quality programs and documentation
• Proactively identify design/development gaps and weaknesses in existing application(s) and recommend appropriate solutions
• Maintain existing integrations, fixing bugs when needed
• Improve integration frameworks as needed
• Work with departments and individuals within the company, as well as customers and third parties, to design and implement improvements to CommerceHub's data exchange capabilities
• Follows the instructions and reports to his/her Team Leader
• Follows the project/company standards and team working procedures

 

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of professional experience in developing with PHP
• Relevant computer science education
• Very good understanding of Object Oriented Programming
• Very good understanding of PHP 5/7
• Very good understanding of relational databases
• Working experience with version control systems
• Good understanding of design patterns
• Excellent knowledge in English – both written and spoken

 

Advantages:

• Experience with AWS – EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.

• Release code with little to no bugs, ensure proper unit testing is developed and utilized
• Works well with other engineers, support personnel, project managers, customers, and third parties.
