English Language Centre announces a vacancy for the position of Social Media Specialist 


About The Job 

As a member of the Marketing team, you will work cross-functionally to help communicate the latest news from all departments of English Book Education including Unique Learning and University of St George to consumers/customers. As part of your work, you’ll write, edit, publish, and report on organic content for King’s and Queen’s / s official social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, BLOG, sites, etc.). You’ll also work cross-functionally with sales, exams, CPD teams across the company to develop and manage creative social media content based on user insights and product needs. We're looking for great communicator who can understand complex issues and explain them through engaging and well-written social copy, as well as creative thinker who can execute compelling new ideas about English Book Education to connect with more people on social media.

We help inform and educate users, pupils, students, buyers, partners, opinion leaders--and our own employees--about the benefits of English Book Education’s products and services our distinctive company culture/values and our approach to the big public policy issues of the day. You are quick-witted, entrepreneurial and intellectually curious. To succeed in this role, you should be willing to try new things and can manage numerous projects with tight deadlines. Things happen quickly at English Book Education, and to do great work, you need to be an enthusiastic team player who can work cross-functionally.


Office Location: Tbilisi, Georgia. Vepkhistkaosnis 92, Didi Digghomi.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:  

  •  Develop and execute creative content, engagement, and measurement efforts for’s King’s and Queen’s / official social media platforms: sites, youtube, Instagram, blog, facebook, twitter and linkedin.
  •  Proactively identify opportunities to communicate stories of interest from across the company on our social channels
  •  Proactively engage with and interact with followers by responding to questions and joining in relevant conversations
  •  Keep ahead of and communicate social media trends, best practices and platform updates with marketing team and key stakeholders
  •  Manage inbound requests for social support, ensuring the social media calendar is current, and provide support strategies and content for King’s and Queen’s / ’s executives.
  •  Manage concerns and messages on Facebook, Email and All Other Social Media sites
  •  Manage company’s Email Marketing (creating and sending emails to our customers, including, English Book Teachers, Online Bookshop customers, Unique Learning customers and King’s and Queen’s customers)
  •  Collate and report back monthly on performance statistics for all digital communications across all channels, using statistics to influence future digital activity.
  •  Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics such as: Google Analytics, Blog Analytics, Facebook Analytics, Instagram Analytics.
  •  Updating information on our sites: , including book information and stock management (in stock and out of stock, adding new arrivals and clearing related products, working on metadata), book covers, book reviews, adding up videos on different books; BLOG and other sites related to   English Book Education, products and services.
  •  Price Comparison analyses,
  •  Maintain Partnerships with media agencies and vendors.

  • Minimum experience in the related field, 1-2 year/s
  • To fully support aims and objectives of English Book Education
  • To attend meetings as appropriate. Arrive early on every meeting or prepare a meeting room way in advance.
  • To undertake any other duties set by Head of Communication and Social media.
