Location: Tbilisi, Georgia

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for sourcing, screening and providing a shortlist of qualified candidates for various hospitality roles. He / She will also network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand, reduce our time-to-hire and ensure we attract the best professionals. Also interacting with other functions in the company to ensure all staff transactions and HR related activities are in compliance with local laws such as employment, tax, migration etc. HR Manager will act as key go-to person for expert advice.

Education & Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or another similar field;
  • More than 3 years of experience in the field of Human Resources; and minimum of one year of management experience is required;
  • Knowledge of human resource management functions and procedures;
  • Knowledge of Georgian labor legislation;
  • Outstanding leadership and coaching qualities and strong communication skills;
  • Ability to work in a team;
  • Professional ability to resolve conflicts.
  • Fluent English (to manage the recruitment and selection process and hold interviews in English) and Georgian Knowledge is essential. Good Russian is an asset.

  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing nametags.
  • Comply with Marjan Plaza Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
  • Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
  • Must be able to understand and evaluate complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

Fundamental Requirements

  • Managing HR admin scope: hiring, termination, vacation and other core HR processes
  • Handling HR records in the system
  • Develop recruitment strategies to increase the number of newcomers;
  • Develop and communicate the strategic vision, scope, priorities, and tools of HR unit;
  • Preparing and amending where necessary HR documents, i.e., employment contracts and recruitment guides;
  • Work in liaison with key stakeholders e.g., budget, strategy, and establish and support the link between strategic business objectives and people’s day-to-day actions and task;
  • Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR department and organization and keeping up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices
  • Ensure legal compliance of HR state and update policies and/or procedures as required;
  • Works with managers to address learning issues, instruction problems, or new educational needs regarding specific employees or departments;
  • Monitor and manage weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual HR reports and analytics.
  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, etc.;
  • Create and update job descriptions;
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas;
  • Report to management and provide decision support;
