YOUR WORK-LIFE OPPORTUNITY:

As part of the Operations team you will be responsible for helping build the bridge between the Courier Operations strategy of Tunisia and the teams across the country. We are looking for someone to connect, understand and push forward solutions to improve the pain points we face in each city of Tunisia in order to win the market. You will be accountable for the results on each of our main KPIs, and will work together with the Head of Operations on designing and executing the action plan required in order to bring our Operations to the next level. This role will require a mix of operations, analytical skills, project management and creativity to tackle different challenges. The couriers, Glovers for us, are a key player in Glovo’s marketplace and you will need to ensure the fleet's long-term sustainability. We are looking for a person with a positive attitude, lots of gas, creativity to think out of the box and passion for the work you will develop.

 

BE A PART OF A TEAM WHERE YOU WILL:

  • Understand each city`s challenges in order to adapt the strategy and maximize the results
  • Be responsible for a part of our operations, having plenty of visibility with the majority of our company
  • Ensure our supply is balanced, operating each lever available in a controlled and data-driven way
  • Be responsible for courier acquisition, courier funnel optimisation, onboarding excellence, newbies quality and retention boosting
  • Propose, track and consolidate new ideas to improve the operations by being obsessed with Glovo's KPIs
  • Have a blank page for you to create! We don't stick to a single playbook, and we expect you to build your own as the business and market evolves
  • Report directly to the Head of Operations and align GE market strategy
  • Have a team of courier specialists based in Tunis and be responsible for their performance and development
  • Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference
  • Contribute towards the continuous improvement of the Glover lifecycle through out-of-the-box thinking
  • Understand Glovers needs, and put yourself in the skin of the Glover - understand who they are

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor in General Management, Project Management, Finance or any technological domain
  • Experience in high demanding positions (operations, technology, consulting, investment banking, etc.).
  • Experience of a Manager role 2+ year
  • Passionate about analytics: you enjoy deep diving into problems to find the root cause
  • Problem-solving skills: no problem is too small or too big
  • Excel proficiency
  • Knowledge in SQL will be appreciated
  • Knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau, Looker & Qlikview
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (English is a must)
  • Proactive, organized, and obsessed with details
  • An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
