Title:Food and Beverage Supervisor


Reports to:Food and Beverage Manager

A Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for managing operations of all Food and Beverage outlets and Banqueting facilities to deliver an excellent Guest experience. Training staff and working within budgeted guidelines.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Food and Beverage Outlet operations
  • Manage Food and Beverage team and all day-to-day operations
  • Maintain the Hotel Bar control policies and completion of necessary forms
  • Maintain records for inventory, labour cost, food cost etc.
  • Collect information from the guest inspection system to identify and correct F&B weaknesses
  • Reviewing guest comments and ensuring that problems are identified and corrected in a timely manner
  • Set departmental targets and objectives and work schedules
  • Control staff uniforms (appearance) in order to reflect a positive brand image.
  • Efficient stock planning ensuring that wastage is minimised and cash-flow is not tied-up unnecessarily

Banqueting Responsibilities

  • Consistent check of Banquet Food and Beverage quality, Banquet services and Plate presentation
  • Supervise and co-ordinate daily operation of meeting/banquet set-ups and service
  • Check quality of meeting room set-up
  • Check Food & Beverage or coffee Break schedule if applicable
  • Incentivise team members to maximize sales and revenue
  • Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Provide proactive coaching to team members.
  • Completion of weekly schedules. Schedule staff as necessary to ensure adequate and consistent levels of service
  • Train and develop the Food and Beverage team
  • Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships




  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration, Business Administration or related field 
  • At Least 2 years of supervisory Food and Beverage experience
  • Experience handling cash, accounting procedures, and general administrative tasks.
  • Fluency in English and Russian languages (spoken and written)
  • The right candidate should have an open and creative mind and be an excellent communicator/motivator;
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments.
  • High sense of responsibility and punctuality
  • Strong managerial, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, smart, positive and energetic
  • Detail oriented, able to work and make decisions independently
