British-Georgian Academy and British International School of Tbilisi are looking for a creative, dynamic marketing professional to lead the marketing strategy of both schools. This exciting new role is available immediately for the appropriately qualified and experienced candidate.

 

The Marketing and Communications Manager reports directly to the Principals of both schools and is responsible for the planning and implementation of the BGA/BIST marketing strategy aimed at growing recruitment and brand awareness and promotion of the schools locally and internationally. The role will involve working closely with the school’s leadership and admissions team, academic staff, parents and students to ensure that the school’s key messages are communicated as broadly as possible.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with BGA/BIST Leadership teams and academic staff to develop in-depth knowledge of schools’ culture, standards and practices.
  • Plan and implement both BGA/BIST marketing strategies.
  • Contribute to developing and communicating BGA/BIST brand and image through a variety of channels such as website, print literature, social media, events.
  • Contribute to developing effective BGA/BIST parent engagement strategies and regularly interact with existing parents to build insights and positive relationships.
  • Work collaboratively with BGA/BIST Leadership teams and academic staff on school events and their promotion.
  • Work closely with BGA/BIST admission teams to support pupil recruitment by identifying and reaching prospective parents through appropriate channels.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of parent needs and of local market trends and developments to inform school marketing strategies.
  • Identify relevant community-based events and initiatives in which the schools can participate to support development of positive brand awareness.
  • Represent and promote BGA/BIST at various community outreach events.
  • Produce engaging marketing materials for multiple platforms.
