Hotels & Preference Hualing Tbilisi is a 5-star Hotel located on the shorelines of the Tbilisi Sea, a perfect gateway to fresh air and a relaxing atmosphere with an exceptional panoramic view of Tbilisi hills.

Owned by “Hualing Group” and managed by BTL Hospitality Group under the French Hotel Brand “Hotels & Preference” as “Hotels & Preference Hualing Tbilisi, which opened in 2015.

The hotel offers a range of facilities to comfort and satisfy even a very particular client: Contemporary style 246 guest rooms with the largest number of twin bedrooms, the largest ballroom in Tbilisi of 800 sq., six additional meeting rooms and an exceptional recreation center – Be PURE, including 25m indoor swimming pool, SPA treatment center, 3D golf simulator and one of the largest GYM in Tbilisi.

Guests can look forward to enjoying a unique taste of international cuisine as well as local Georgian delights at Western restaurant - Be CHIC. In the welcoming atmosphere of hotel’s Chinese restaurant ENSEMBLE, guests can feature authentic Chinese dishes, while sport enthusiasts can enjoy “game time” food in the most outstanding Sports bar “Legends”.

At present we are “Casting” for the role of:  Sous Chef.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop new menu options based on seasonal changes and customer demand.
  • Assist with the preparation and planning of meal designs.
  • Ensure that kitchen activities operate in a timely manner.
  • Resolve customer problems and concerns personally.
  • Monitor and record inventory, and if necessary, order new supplies.
  • Provide support to junior kitchen employees with various tasks including line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating.
  • Recruit and train new kitchen employees to meet restaurant and kitchen standards.
  • Create schedules for kitchen employees and evaluate their performance.
  • Adhere to and implement sanitation regulations and safety regulations.
  • Manage the kitchen team in the executive chef's absence.

 

Qualifications required:

  • Creative, driving by passion food and food & beverage trends.
  • Show Manship personality mixed with natural leadership
  • for A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role. (Desirable in an International Branded Hotel)
  • Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, varieties of menus, food safety issues.
  • Good understanding of MS Office and Materials Control and other related software programs.
  • Teamwork-oriented with outstanding leadership abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of English language – B2 level.
