POSITION TITLE:  Trade Marketing Manager

We are Iberia Refreshments - the exclusive Pepsi-Cola bottler representing PepsiCo International on the Georgian market through holding a franchise agreement for organizing production and sales of soft beverages in Georgia. We are a fast-growing company and one of the largest beverages’ producers in Georgia. We are part of an international private investment group – Revery Group, which is developing Food & Beverage Businesses in Caucasus, Central Asia and Middle East markets.

 

POSITION PURPOSE

Effectively contribute to management of framework of relationships between Company and the trade by developing and implementing strategic business building programs in order to enhance brand equity, consumer loyalty, company image, trade partnership, accelerate trade development and growth of long-term sustainable volume and profitability.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the development of trade marketing strategy aligned with the company and portfolio/brand strategies
  • Develop and guide promotional calendar integrated with annual marketing calendar to track activities across all trade channels to drive revenue
  • Develop merchandising standards for company’s product categories ensuring development of planograms/layouts at retail driving the implementation of the latter
  • Constantly look for the improvements of both brand activation and merchandising standards activation by sales team
  • Monitor on-going brand activations evaluating pros and cons and constantly coming up with improvement initiatives
  • Ensure that clear and consistent guidelines are provided to Field Sales Force for all brand/trade activities, including briefing on brand communication cycles, new launches, as well as the newly developed trade programs
  • Collect feedback from sales team on execution of brand activations/trade programs, trade/consumer acceptance and satisfaction, monitor overall Programs’ effectiveness and initiate timely corrective actions where appropriate
  • Manage and track brand cycles POS materials development and placement based on given guidelines
  • Track competition providing reports on competitors’ activities/initiatives in the market on a regular basis
  • Evaluate the market/customer needs for tools of trade and manage the ordering process aligned with trade marketing budget
  • Act as a liaison between Sales, Brand Marketing and other staff functions to ensure that plans and execution are in line with strategic brand and category objectives
  • Collect and disseminate Best Practice for efficient and profitable Trade Marketing activities.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University degree in business related field/discipline
  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in trade marketing, preferably in FMCG sector
  • Action oriented with experience in managing multiple projects, priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, including superior communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Motivated by success and passionate about working and achieving higher results with the power to influence
  • Ability to think critically and creatively
  • High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and strong ability to create and develop proposals and presentations
  • Self-motivated, excited by challenge, and an effective team player 
  • Fluency in Georgian, Russian and English languages
  • Personal car and driving license (B category) will be considered as plus.
